Our Story

The Hyde Hunt was born on the Lower East Side of New York, inspired by two people who understood that beautiful things carry stories worth preserving.

My grandmother Florence had an effortless gift for style. She wasn't collecting luxury labels — she was collecting beauty. No matter the occasion, she found a way to elevate an outfit with something special: sparkling jewelry, an embroidered evening bag, an exotic leather purse, or a kerchief tied just so. She taught me that true style isn't about trends; it's about choosing pieces that make you feel extraordinary.

My grandfather Danny was a merchant and collector in his own right, selling accessories and leather goods to generations of New Yorkers. I still treasure the vintage leather gloves he sold decades ago — white, black, brown, wrist-length, opera-length — each pair a reminder that well-made accessories can transcend generations.

Together, Florence and Danny instilled in me an appreciation for craftsmanship, character, and the enduring value of beautiful objects. That appreciation became The Hyde Hunt.
